The silhouette follows the body closely from the shoulders through to the knee, where the skirt flares outward into a floor-sweeping train. At the neckline, a voluminous ruffled collar frames the face and shoulders — it is a structured ruffle rather than a soft one, which holds its shape throughout a long event. Gold floral embroidery runs across the bodice and continues down the length of the skirt to the hem, providing a consistent decorative thread that ties the upper and lower halves of the gown together. The sleeves are made from sheer fabric with hand-applied beading throughout, finishing at statement flared velvet cuffs that match the gown body.

The back features a keyhole cutout framed by gold-toned embellishments, with a full corset lace-up closure below it.
